In our microbiologic department, we provide:

• Microscopical determination of mould species
• Growth and differentiation of mould species on different nutrient media

Detection of mould in the following matrices:

1. Dust
2. Materials
3. Sellotaped surface sample
4. Air

Besides examining the dust, we can also identify fungi which are present in different materials. If necessary, we provide an assessment of the current microbiological situation in our client’s living space

• Indoor situation
• Air conditioning
   

We use apparatus working with the impact principle. To breed and identify the mould species, we use Dichloran-Glycerole- (DG18) and Malt Extract Agar (MEA). For an easy and safe identification of genus and species, we use a database of more than 100 pure cultures.

Measurements are performed according to VDI 4300 Blatt 10 (issued by the Commission for Clean Air in the German Engineer’s Union and the German Industrial Norm Executive Committee). Our staff regularly takes part in validation studies.
